CloseList Privacy Policy

Your guest list and contacts

CloseList stores guest names, phone numbers, notes, messages, and invitation history locally on your device. We do not operate a server for your guest list or upload it to an advertising service. With your permission, CloseList reads contacts so you can import people into your list. You can decline contacts access and add people manually. You can change contacts permission in your device settings. Device backups may include local app data according to your Apple backup settings.

Messages and calls

When you choose to open an invitation in WhatsApp, CloseList passes the recipient's phone number and prepared message to WhatsApp. You decide whether to send it. Calls use your device's phone service. These services handle information under their own policies.

Optional advertising

CloseList uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads. Google's advertising SDK may process IP addresses (including to estimate general location), device identifiers, ad views and interactions, app interactions, crash information, and performance diagnostics. Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, operate its services, and prevent fraud. CloseList does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier.

Where required, the app presents advertising privacy choices before requesting ads. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. Choosing less personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all advertising-related data processing. Learn more: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Purchases

Apple processes the one-time CloseList Unlimited purchase. CloseList checks purchase entitlements to enable unlimited sends without ad breaks. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple manages purchase records under its policies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

App lock and exports

The optional app lock uses Apple's device authentication. CloseList does not receive or store biometric data. Exports are generated on your device and shared with destinations you choose; those destinations may retain a copy.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Please avoid sending your guest list or other people's personal details unless necessary for your request.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual guests or use Settings → Reset App to remove local app data. Deleting the app removes its local storage, though backups and previously shared exports may retain copies. These actions do not erase records held by Apple, Google, or WhatsApp, and do not cancel or refund a purchase. Contact those providers for requests concerning their records.

Children

CloseList is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us.
