CloseList is built by a solo developer, and every email goes straight to me. I usually reply within 1–2 days.
Email: amnasahmd@gmail.comEntirely on your iPhone. CloseList has no servers and no account system — your contacts, notes, and invitation history are never uploaded anywhere. That also means deleting the app deletes your list, so export a copy first if you're switching phones.
First sort your contacts on the Guests tab: swipe right on anyone you plan to invite, left on anyone you're not inviting. Everyone you shortlist appears in the To Invite tab, where a right swipe invites them by the suggested method — or use the phone and WhatsApp buttons on each row to pick a channel yourself.
So your numbers stay truthful. Opening WhatsApp or the dialer doesn't guarantee the invite happened — maybe the call didn't connect or you changed your mind. Confirming keeps your Invited count something you can actually trust.
Yes — go to More → Invite Message. You can use {name}, {wedding}, and {date} placeholders, and the preview shows exactly how the message will look.
CloseList only imports contacts that have a phone number, and it automatically skips duplicates (same number in a different format). You can always add anyone manually with the + button.
Open the guest's detail page (tap the round info button on their row) and use the Events section. Create and manage your events under More → Manage Events.
More → Export Guest List. You can export everyone or only invited guests, as a PDF or spreadsheet, and share it with family or your planner.
More → Privacy & Security → turn on Face ID / Touch ID Lock. The app will require authentication every time it opens.
More → Reset App. This permanently erases all guests, events, tags, invitation history, and settings, and returns the app to onboarding. It cannot be undone, so export first if you might need the data.
Please email amnasahmd@gmail.com with what happened (screenshots help a lot). CloseList is made by one person, and every report genuinely shapes the app.
